The cost of the service that goes with hearing aids is cooked into the initial price. Your hearing aids require periodic adjustments and won't be of much use without a board certified hearing specialist or audiologist who knows how to make them work best for you. With the initial purchase, you have access to unlimited service for up to three years.

How Long Does a Hearing Test Take?

A hearing test (or hearing evaluation) can take from 30 to 60 minutes, and that is from the moment you walk through our door to the moment you walk out. A comprehensive hearing evaluation doesn’t take long, and it is completely painless.

Are Cue Tips Safe for Your Ear?

Cue tips are made to neatly scoop up wax in the ear, but NOT inside the ear. You should never attempt to put anything into your ear, as you will only push wax in further and possibly damage your inner ear. Your ears should naturally deposit wax, allowing you to clean up the outer ear without issue.

How Much Do Hearing Aids Cost?

The cost of hearing aids varies by model and manufacturer, as well as services included. Hearing aids can produce whistling sounds or feedback occasionally, but there are only a few reasons for this, all of which are easily resolved.

• If your hearing aid doesn’t fit right or is too loose, it allows the amplified sound to escape from your ear, causing feedback.
• You may also receive feedback if you stand too close to a surface that reflects sound, like a wall.
• Some feedback occurs because the volume control is too high.

Are There Other Ways I Can Treat My Hearing Loss?

Possibly, but it depends on what type of hearing loss you have and its severity. There are several hearing-related tools like hearing amplifiers, amplified telephones, TV listening systems and personal listening systems. Plus, we also need to consider if you have any other underlying conditions (like tinnitus).
